TEAM SJ AT INGLISTON NOV

Hurrah!! Yet again our Novice Novice team were victorious!. This team of little ones rode for their lives to win the class. We are all very proud of you. They won a lovely shield which was last seen being cuddled by a sleeping Kari Dunlop!.
Very well done.
In a strong Novice class our Hounds managed to get 5th place. This is always a busy and competitive class so very well done. All the children in our Novice teams rode well and looked very smart.
Well done.
The Intermediate class caused a few problems. Our Hounds team went forward to the 2nd round on a zero score. They were the first team to go and had to give it a try!. All four rode terrific fast rounds but had an unlucky couple of poles to put them in 3rd place. These girls like speed!!. Well done it was a good try.
Our other 2 teams weren’t in the money , but all rode well and I am sure will get there next time.
Well done everybody , it was not an easy course.
The Open teams faced a challenging track and did very well to finish 4th. A few has an ‘ unusual ‘ day , I am sure they were just giving the other branches a chance for once !!.
Well Tried.
A fair number of our members gave the Dengie a try with Georgia Stevenson doing a fantastic round to win the class ! . Robin Donaghue was close behind in 3rd and Lauren McWade in 4th. This was a big class and these girls rode terrifically well to gain their places . The regional Final is going to be full of Eglinton Members which is a great achievement for our members and the Branch .
Very well done.
To all the Parents who helped steward the collecting rings , many thanks. The two day competition was a challenge but your cheerful help made it possible. Many thanks also to out faithful tack checker Viv.
Thanks also to Wum for an outstanding feat of endurance over two days. As always you were a great help . I think your training is making a difference .
Hope to see lots of you at Gleneagles.

Once again our Members had a successful day show jumping at Kingsbarn. Our Novice Novice Team , despite being a ‘man’ down , managed to win in fine style. They were by far the youngest team there and were real stars. Our Novice Team was also in the money , coming in a close 2nd . Our Intermediates had an unlucky day but a few of our members tried the Dengie Qualifier and Elspeth Jamieson was 3rd with Rachel Scott 4th . This was a busy class and both girls were delighted to qualify for the Regional Finals. Our thanks go, once again ,to Wum Dodds . He had a long, cold day helping the children, but he is a great help and support to them and to the Mums and Dads!.
Well Done everybody , see you all next week at Ingliston.

Area SJ 2005 - Many of the competitors night stopped at Jenny Leggett’s yard where they had a wonderful Bar-B-Q with lots of good food and wine – the adults of course.
Our Area Team (of 3) were 5th, our Junior Team were unplaced but only had 3 members on the day but our Novice Challenge Team were 3rd (out of 14 teams) and just missed out on qualifying for the Championships
The Winter season of team SJ will be starting at the end of October.
One of our winning teams from last year is pictured on the left: Heather Ridland, Alice Gamper, Katie Offer & Holly Rivett at Sandyflats.
Well done to all !
