| April | D+ Test On 25th March the following passed their D+ Test: Natasha McKee, Heather Wyllie, Julia Kennerley, Calum Leach, Georgia Brown, Kari Dunlop and Heather Gibbons. Thank you to Angela Mulhearn and Gemma Ellis. C Test On 4th March we had an external examiner come into the club and test. The following passed their C Test: Neve Donaghue, Alice Scott, Hazel Kirk and Zoe Dodds. C+ and B Camp On 10/11th April we ran a camp for C+ and B possible candidates with a C+ and B Test to follow. 19 members attended the camp at Titwood with 7 instructors over the two days. Thank you to Mrs Montgomery for the use of Titwood, all the instructors, the parents for delicious lunches and well done to all the members who were fantastic ambassadors for Eglinton Hunt Pony Club. C+ Test On 12th April the following passed their C+ Stable Management: Robyn Donaghue, Chelsea Gaffney, Lulu Wareham, Kirsten Barlow and Antonia Craig. Natalie Allan, Nikalus Brown and Christopher Liechti also passed thier C+ Riding. B Test On 15th April Erin Houston passed her B Test Riding. Congratulations to all! Harris Ritchie, Elspeth Jamieson, Samantha Gemmell , Eilidh Jack, Georgia Stevenson & Harmen Lindsay all passed their C+ Test on Friday. It has been a lot of hard work and considerable nerves on the day but all the girls did very well to pass at a young age. Many thanks to Sheila for all her help and also to Lotta & Kirsty for arranging the Test. |

We have just been informed that Michael Craig has been awarded the Junior Sports Personality of the Year Award (2010/2011) from South Ayrshire Sports Council Sports Awards. In 2010 Michael represented Scotland in PC Tetrathlon UK and Ireland Junior Regionals where he came 2nd overall. He then moved up to Intermediate U21’s where he won the Area Tetrathlon, the Scottish Tetrathlon and finally he competed at Hartpury where he won the U21 UK Intermediate Tetrathlon Championships. In 2011 he was asked by Pentathlon GB to represent GB at International Level at the Youth International in Gloucester. He has since been asked to represent Scotland at Windsor Horse Show in Tetrathlon. |
