Winter Training is run in conjunction with Eventing Training.

 

Please look out for Dengie Dressage Qualifiers. See PC website for details of dates and venues.

 

Rowallan runs Dressage Comps approx once per month with an unaffiliated Prelim Class.

Ayr Riding Club run periodic Combined  Training Competitions.

 

All members are welcome at these training lessons whether or not you wish to be in Teams in 2011, however, if you do wish to be considered for teams it would be helpful if you could keep a few of your test sheets.

NOVICE DENGIE DRESSAGE QUALIFIER – SNEC 31.01.09

Elspeth Jamieson and Harris and Katie Ritchie travelled through to the Scottish National Equestrian Centre, Oatridge College, Broxburn to compete in the Novice Dengie Dressage Qualifier.

Elspeth, riding Ollie, Harris on Buster and Katie on Blue warmed up by riding Prelim 14 (2006).

Harris gained a credible 65% and was 6th overall (mostly against adult riders) and Elspeth and Katie were not far behind.

For the Dengie the girls rode The Pony Club Novice Dressage Test 2004 and all three improved on their 1st test’s results.

Elspeth and Ollie were just pipped into 2nd place on 66.25%.

Harris and Buster, close behind in 3rd on 65.83%.

Katie and Blue, the youngest rider to take part, a credible 5th on 62.08%.

With qualifying places to 4th place, both Harris and Elspeth qualified. Well done girls!
