A revolution in cold and heat therapy is upon us. A brand new method of administering cold and heat therapy to athletes and horses has been developed. Never before in the UK or anywhere else in the world has there been a machine that provides continuous and programmable cold or heat therapy combined with a massage function for the repair and general maintenance of athletes and sports horse's legs and many other areas.
Zamar units operate in a similar way to a refrigeration unit but have the capacity to heat as well as cool the area being treated. There is no need to add ice or water to this treatment system. Equine and Sports hot/cold therapy units with their advanced programmable heating and cooling temperature treatment comes from an air condensed refrigeration unit with a specially adapted circulation system. A liquid called Glycol is pumped down PVC hoses into treatment pads that are held inside Velcro fastening Wraps that are applied to the area to be treated. The Equine machines have safety connectors fitted and if the horse moves away the Wraps are instantly disconnected.
There has been much research in recent times about sports injury therapy, sports hot / cold therapy & equine ice therapy and the results that are achieved by it.

Desperately seekin Corale!
I am desperately trying to trace my old mare that I sold in April 2004. I have known of her whereabouts up until recently, she was kept in Ayrshire, at Muirmill and then at a small yard between Mauchline and Tarbolten. I heard she had been loaned as a companion to the Richmond, Surrey area?? possibly only in the last few months. I think she was sold as having a back injury, as she had not been ridden in a long time.
Her name is Corale, when I had her she was registered BSJA under the name Loudoun Unique but I don't think she has ever jumped since I sold her. I do know that her stable name has never been changed from Corale, inless her current owner / loaner has changed it.
She is a beautiful 16.3hh TB mare, very bright bay in summer and darker in winter. She has a small star on her forehead and no other white, with very striking black points. She has typical TB feet and one of her front feet is flatter than the other, you can see this quite significantly when she needs shod. She has impeccable manners and is very sweet, a true lady, at least she was when I sold her. She is well bred however no one will be aware of her breeding as I still have her original weatherbys passport. She was the old fashioned TB type, and when in work was quite chunky, as far as TB's go!
One of her more distinguishing features is that she has really big ears, when she pricks them she looks surprised and very cute, and wasn't too keen on getting them touched, especially her left one. Her date of birth is 16th March 1994, so she will be 16yrs old on her birthday. However, as I have her passport I have no idea what age she is being classed as just now, she could be being passed as younger. I can't put any photos on just now but I can email them to anyone that thinks they might know her or her whereabouts. I do have more information that I will share with anyone that contacts me, although I'd rather not detail it in this advert. I got her when she was 2yrs old and only sold her because I thought it was in her best interets, I wish I hadn't, although she has never been badly treated, I am sure she is healthy and well looked after. I do know her full history up until she was 10yrs old.
I don't know where her owner is just now, Newton Mearns area I think. I would love to speak to her regarding Corale but I have no way of contacting her. I am desperate to find her! So if her owner, or anyone who knows anything about her whereabouts, is reading this please get in touch!! I would love to buy her back and provide her with a place to grow old but more than anything I just want to know if she is ok.

A very well looked after GFS 17½" “Pro Event” saddle in black leather medium width gullet. This is a really great saddle and a genuine sale. Great condition with no repairs. There is a rub mark on each side where the stirrup leathers rub but really does not detract from the quality of the saddle and cannot be seen once the leathers are in place. New it costs £925. Brighouse Bay Trekking Centre will be holding a training course and exam for TRSS Ride Leader. This is the first exam on their system and is equivalent to BHS Stage 2 / SVQ Level 2.
Students will receive full training and only need to be able to walk/trot/canter safely to apply.

Absolutely striking young mare bred out of a Welsh section D mare and sired by a Dutch warm blood. She still has a little bit of growing to do but shouldn’t make more than 15.2. I have owned this little mare since she was 6 months old and I am looking for an extra special home for her. She was broken in the autumn last year but due to an injury sustained in the field then poor weather conditions she hasn’t done much over the last few months. She has a great nature being very bold but sweet at the same time and is used to kids, dogs, chickens, farm machinery etc. She will do well in any discipline particularly in the show ring as she is stunning with three balanced and correct paces. This is a very sad sale of a much loved horse but due to work commitments I am no longer able to keep her.

Rider Wanted:
Looking for smallish adult rider for 15hand small horse. Paddy is a native type cross so could happily carry up to around 12 stone. Looking for a confident rider who has free time during the week to ride, and is confident and capable enough to ride alone and just get on with things. Ideally i would like someone who could help me further his education and bring him on. There is on and off road hacking and a small outdoor school. He is only 5 and can be strong willed at times, and will occasionally buck, but there is not a bad bone in his body. I just lack time during the week to give him the excersise and fun he would like. Financial contribution not essential, particcularly for the right person although some help with stable chores would be much appreciated. There is some scope for riding at weekends as i have another pony, and potentially the chance togo to competitions in summer for the right person. Paddy is located in Kirkmichael, Ayrshire. 15.2 6YEAR OLD BAY GELDING
Fantastic little horse with a great temperament and good looking into the bargain. He has been out hunting twice and schooled cross country over intro and pre-novice fences proving to be very bold and careful. He hacks out well and is great in all types of traffic and never gets hot or fizzy even if others do! Great to load, bath,shoe,clip and is well used to flapping chickens, barking dogs, goats and noisy children. Flat work needing a wee bit more work but a very easy little horse to ride and do in all ways. He will go far in any discipline. 5 * home wanted for this very genuine and talented boy. Rider willing to help out!
Due to an injury I have been unable to ride for over a year. Now that I
have recovered I am looking for a kind person who might need some help
exercising their horses. I'm a bit rusty now but dying to get back into it
after such a long time out of the saddle. I am 26 years old and fairly

"Quality Albion jumping saddle 17.5 inch seat in good condition complete with original Albion waterproof saddle cover.
It has recently been checked by a Master Saddler who gave it a full check over so is 100% sound in every way.
This is a narrow to medium saddle but like most Albions is generous on size, this saddle would suit high withered horses. Measurements from D ring to D ring is 9 inches.
This saddle has been well cared for but a small amount of piping on the saddle flaps have worn due to being stored on a saddle rack, although this has been repaired and is hardly noticeable.

Mia is a 5yr old 16.1hh belgium warmblood/irish draft mare...desperately in need of an experienced friend who is willing to ride and bring her on. I am a novice rider (riding school level) who didnt really know what she was letting herself in for when i bought her just over 2 yrs ago.....i did think i was buying with an experienced rider at the time..but that didnt work out. She has a lovely nature and is very willing and keen to learn. I have injured my hand and shoulder and require two operations...first one 10th Feb...therefore i cant ride at all at the moment and mia's welfare is stressing me out.
She is full livery at gatehead so it really is just your time i am looking for....i am not looking for a financial contribution although it would be welcome. I have had a couple of folk offer to help but circumstances have intervened to prevent this....i dont want mia to get confused but i really need someone who is consistant and willing to give her time at least 3 times a week.
If you know what you are doing (age unimportant...i am 55) and are prepared to help me taking mia as far as she can go in any way you want...please get in touch.

Rider Wanted
I am looking for a light, adult, competent rider for my 26 year-young 16hh gelding 2-3 days a week. He is kept at home near Dunlop with another horse and pony. I am looking for someone who will make him feel important as I am busy getting to know my new horse and have no time to ride two. Fetlar is a lovely old boy who has seen & done it all and is safe and sensible, but has plenty of life in him! He will be very pleased to pop over the odd wee fence, hacks out fine alone or in company, and will play Monty join up games in the school. He will put up with lessons politely if your confidence needs a boost or if you are a bit rusty. Joining me on trips to the beach or park with other horse is possible on occasional weekdays and on (late) summer evenings. Rider must be happy to get on with things on his/her own most of the time. He's not very fit as he hasn't been ridden in the last 2 months, but last summer was cantering from Irvine beach to Barassie without breaking a sweat! I would love for him to live forever, and need help to keep him ticking along...Payment is not required, but an inclination to doing a bit of sweeping, cleaning tack or grooming the other horses from time to time would not be discouraged!

Sad sale as I’m looking for something to do pure dressage with but unfortunately my boy needs a more “entertaining” lifestyle and would be happier doing some jumping too. Competed in unaffiliated prelim dressage scoring 60% plus on first couple of times out. Also done some xc schooling at Titwood and lots of jumping lessons too (on my braver days!) I have a beautiful 16.1HH TB Gelding who I need to find a home for urgently. He is a true gem and one in a million. He is 11 and retired from a very successful racing career a year ago. Since then he has been turned away but now is back in work. He hacks, is schooled to a basic level and has just started jumping. He is slightly nervy but straight forward and so quick and willing to learn. He has HUGE potential in any discipline. He would suit anybody wanting a project or something to bring on for competition purposes. He is faultless with vet, farrier, dentist. Lovely horse looking for a friend
I have a lovely 5yr old 16.1hh belgium warmblood/irish draft dark bay...had her for over 2 yrs. I am a complete novice so it has been difficult but she has the loveliest termprement, she has been brought on by professionals and hacks out alone, boxes well and is very loveable....her grandfather was a world champion ridden by one of the whittakers and both her parents are competetent jumpers. She needs bringing on at all levels to keep up the work that has been done...not by me.
At the moment, i need to have two ops one on my finger (due to a fall) and one on my shoulder so i am unable to ride....i have help for 2 days a week but that isnt enough for mia. Will consider loan to right home or someone experienced to come to existing yard in Kilmarnock/Gatehead area 2/3times a week...she is full livery...so its all about working with mia. I would appreciate some financial help if at all possible ...£25per wk... but as i said its more about the horse until i am fit enough to get back on her and take lessons to get me up to speed.
She is a very pretty girl and responds well to the gentler but firm approach...she also is very keen to learn and will do her best with anything you ask her to do.

Jack is an 8 yr old ex-racer who finished him career in 2006.
He is a wonderful horse with stable manners to die for and can be handled by anyone of any age. He has such a loving nature for his size and breed.
I bought him to further my career in showjumping and with his nature it was not long til we bonded. I took him to his first ever show in the summer and he came home with a rosette!
He is really good with the farrier getting his shoes on and is also good to clip, load, etc.
He was progressing really well in his jumping but I have since found out that due to a fall in his racing career he got pin fired and this has led to a blown fetlock on his front off side so have had to make a really hard decision and find a new home. Don't be put off by his condition as there is still loads he can do and will make a great horse for someone who wants to hack out either alone or in company and to have fun in the school. He is getting better in his schooling every day and has lovely paces. The thought of him leaving is hard so a 5* home is a must. He will come with all his rugs and I'm only looking for around £1000 as a good home is much more important than the price.

Rider wanted 2 - 3 days per week
Looking for rider 2-3 days per week for 5yr old 15hands gelding. He is Connemara cross so could carry up to around 12 stone. Paddy is great on the road and does not bat an eyelid at any kind of traffic, including lorries and tractors. Will occasionally spook if fresh but easily takes direction from a confident rider. Due to shift work clashing with these dark winter nights, i am only managing to ride 2-3 times per week and he is bored. I am ideally looking for a competent and confident rider who can just get on with it a few days per week. I would also love someone who is capable and interested in helping me to school him and bring him on both on the flat and jumping as he needs a firm but fair rider in the school and in open spaces. Financial contribution not essential, some mucking out on riding days would be great if possible but again this is negotiable as finding the right rider to help me keep him happy and bring him on is my priority. I also have another pony, and my mother in law has a 16hand mare who also lacks excersise so there is potential for more than 2-3 days riding for the right person. We have a horse (Muphasa) who has been stolen whilst on loan, and his owner Louize is desperate to find him. The woman who has taken him, is moving him from yard to yard, and we know he was in Perth for a short time, then thought to be headed to Dundee. I spoke with Louize today and she thinks she has seen him advertised for sale (no picture shown) in Cupar. So please, please can you email his details to everyone you know, and tell friends and advise yard owners. The woman has left unpaid yard fees all over the area (bouncing cheques) and has reportedly stolen tack from one stable. If Muphasa is in a yard in your area, please rest assured that Louize is happy to pay his livery costs until she can collect him, please don't let him be evicted and taken away. She just wants him safe.

MUNRO 7 Y/O ID X gelding 16.2. Has done everything - sj, xc, hunted lightly in Co. Kildare, Ireland, arena eventing, hunter trials. Good paces, works well on the flat, light to ride. Powerful horse but always snaffle mouth. Has been jumping Discovery and Newcomers READY TO GO ON AND EXCEL IN ANY SPHERE. Bold and scopey, jumps all fillers, water, banks, drains etc. Has been placed in all sorts of comps affiliated and unaffiliated. Would also make a great huntsmans horse. Equestrian Property sought
We are looking for a yard, stables or even farm buildings to rent or possibly buy at the right price. We would be happy to rent in the interim and buy at an agreed later date. Preferably with grazing included or able to be rented nearby. Would prefer to live onsite but without accomodation also considered.

Also my passion is for show-jumping and this big gentleman's career is for dressage. I have'nt done it with him as i don't know much about it, but he has fantastic dressage bloodlines and the paces to go with it. Good natured but not a novice ride.
8 years old IDX and is really fun and safe once you get her going. Good in
traffic, 100% to load, shoe etc, no vices. Really honest - will do anything
for you. Hasn't done much apart from some schooling and hacking but would
be a good fun horse for local shows etc with the right person- doesn't have
much experience or confidence with jumping yet, but has the potential.Would
be a great project for a knowledgeable rider.
