Our team have just finished competing over the week at HOYS.

They won the first warm-up competition the CountryView Trophy, which is run over 3 sessions, by one point from West Perth.

Then went on to compete in the Prince Philip Cup - the National Championships.
Their first 2 sessions weren't too good - finishing 3rd and 4th (out of 4), but the team won the Saturday evening session, and came 2nd in the Sunday afternoon session to go into the final in the lead.
Sadly a pony went lame and with the remaining 4 ponies the team went on to ompete - swapping riders as instructed by officials in the 2 races that required 5 riders - only to be eliminated in both for swapping.
Two of the teams in the final were in this position, but Eglinton ran well winning most of the races to finish 2nd despite the eliminations.
But the Trophy still came to Scotland - with West Perth winning overall!!
