RIDING and ROAD SAFETY

Training Days were continued on from the Pony Club Test earlier this year - with members who were old enough to continue on to complete the BHS test.

The BHS Road Safety Test was held on 9th November 2002 at Doonfoot, Ayr.

Thank you to the Elvy family for arranging the use of the field: and thank you to all those who helped set up and dismantle the field test.

Conditions were not perfect - there were several frantic phone calls the day before - but considering the time of year and the rain on previous days, I think we were very fortunate that the test proceeded without too many hiccups!

Well done kids and parents!

The following members successfully passed:

Four who trained for the test last year - but were too young to sit the test then - Krystin Cunningham, Neah Evans, Hazel Gibson, and Heather Ridland.

And those who trained this year - Sophie Harvey, Hannah Hunter and Rebecca Pottinger.
