Eglinton member Rachael Rodman was competing at HOYS on Rocky. You may have seen Rocky at Eglinton's Camp, or in Novice Challenge Eventing team.

 

 

 

A number of Eglinton members were at Birmingham to watch support both Rachael and the Games team over the weekend - including Tina, Amanda and Aly.

 

 

 

HOYS qualifiers are held all over the country at major shows so the only the best in the country can get to Birmingham. Rachael was competing in the 143cms Working Hunter Pony of the Year on Sunday morning - working hunter classes start with the jumping section and only four out of over twenty ponies managed to jump clear round the rustic course. Rocky had 2 fences down. After the show and trot up Rocky was unfortunately not placed.

The picture below is of a horse some may recognise - Boysie (Gem's Ballykissangel) - a horse that used to belong to Aly Boswell until recently. Boysie was got the reserve in the 143cms class.
