Junior C Team Report 2002

"The Wee Cees"

Katie, Nicola, Caitlyn, Tyler and Shelby were their names,
They all wanted to do the games,
Two of them couldn't do a rising trot,
The other three had to learn the plot,
Trainer Lynn had an idea,
"We won't try for HOYS this year",
We'll go for accuracy at steady paces,
And win all the slow races,
In the end we settled for cute and dinkier,
And we beat the rest hook line and sinker.

For Katie Pearson on Scruffy/Til1y, Nicola McLeod on Coco, Caitlyn Cunningham on Shortie, Tyler McWilliams on Karma and Shelby McWilliams on Teejay this was their first year of competing. Many thanks to all parents who gave their help and also to Mary Pearson on Sugar, Katie Offer on Silver, Clare Geddes on Tufty and Stuart McWilliams on Bubbles for filling in at some competitions I would just like to say that I thoroughly enjoyed training the team. To see their confidence and ability growing throughout the year proved that they weren't just entertaining to watch but they were a team looking to go forward. Well done and all the best for the future.
