Eglinton Christmas Party

We had about 60 at the party this year with a great discoman (he was even singing!).

The Buffet seemed to go down well, as did the bar - judging from some of the adults dancing towards the end of the night. There was also a great selection of photos from throughout the year thanks to Martyn.

During the party the Annual Eglinton Awards are presented each year. They are given to the two members who Tina feels has contributed most to Pony Club and improved throughout the year.

This year they went to two of the older members:

• Adam Pawson for helping out over the year - at Camp other competitions, competing in a range of competitions over the year and also for doing this web-site (thanks!)
  
  
  
  
• Karene Miller who this year passed the Horse & Pony Care part of her A Test - only just missing out on her riding part. The A test is the highest Pony Club test - and very few people achieve it. Karene also qualified for the National Championships in eventing held at Sansaw Park - finishing 5th. Well done Karene.

This was the last year in Pony Club for Karene and myself and its been great fun over the many years. Though you'll still see us competing in the open PC competitions and at BE events, plus Helen has already asked me to help out at Camp again.

Thanks to everyone who was involved in organising the night - Helen, Christine, Beth and anyone else I've forgotten...
